Worth paying a bit more
Having bought a couple of cheap plastic grabbers which either break straight away or worse simply don’t grab anything, I thought I’d pay a little more for a JML one.
What a great decision. This is sturdy, adaptable and reliable. The unique suckers are brilliant and stop objects slipping out.
It picks up heavier objects as well as small delicate items. I would buy a second one as a spare but to be honest I think this is so well built I won’t need a spare.

Old, Big but Good
I have owned about 4 digital cameras since I bought my first Kodak DC280 (for £600 !!) Since then cameras have got smaller and lighter. They are now waterproof, shockproof and come in 10 different stylish colours with more mega pixels than you can count. Yet I have never found one that takes pictures as good as my DC280.
I was gutted when after years of service it broke down and I was told you can't get the parts anymore. My solution? buy one on ebay second hand.
It has it's bad points of course - it's big and heavy so you can't slip it in a top pocket at a wedding, and you use an view findre (remember them?) rather than the small screen but in the end it comes down to the end results and they can't be beaten.
