Invisible until wanted.
The cost of LED lights has come down but when I want a light I don't normally want it to 'make a statement' I want it invisible - these fit the bill they are almost austere! Simple and they work, only [possible] downside is that as all lights like these the tails look frighteningly short!

Keep away from vacuum cleaners!
The last one fell victim and there was I thinking that is £30-40 to replace. But bought this and quick download and it linked perfectly - hasn't dropped or had any other problems (KR400).
Possibly cheaper from the various Chinese companies but obviously wanted quickly and no way over-priced for the convenience. Came quickly too.

First smartphone - where to go from here?
I loved the idea of a smart phone (but, bit of an Apple-phobe). So Android it is!
After a lot of reading and seeing what was around I admit the display on this just sealed it. The other specs (1GHz, 16GB plus 32GB and all the rest) were just 'up there' too. Trouble was the biggest one was VodaFone specific - eBay to the rescue.
Bought from unlocked (good start the seller was excellent) plugged in own SIM and it was everything I hoped.
Basically is very impressive. Swype text entry is truly astounding - I have big fingers and this little on-screen keyboard terrified me, but it is incredible how it gets almost random (and definitely wobbly) swipes right.
Would NEVER dare use this out and about as I pay monthly, but it jooks into my WiFi and that is [effectively] free so I get to play at home.
Downloaded Google Sky and it is beautiful and useful.
Downside - not too fond of some of the apps with it, seem a bit basic. I especially want a better contacts app with fields for lots of related data but maybe with the downloaded [password] Keeper app it will suffice. I don't do 'social networking' so this side of things is a bit pointless but they make a big thing about it. Still your mileage may vary.
Next version of Android (2.2) coming soon (to this phone too) and it is supposed to be a lot faster - I may not manage to keep up!
I would have liked to be able to swap SDHC cards more easily, have to take off the back. But then there is never enough storage and things will only increase.
Would I buy one again? Well just got another [from eBay] for my spouse - so let's say yes.
