Excellent filters

I have only used the ND 17 filter so far and I am very impressed with the quality of the lens, I am due to travel to the mountain in September and will make use of the other filters particularly the polarising one. The only thing that could improve the polarising filter would be to have a mark on both the mount & filter of sort to indicate the best position. I made those marks and it help aligning the filter correctly to obtain the right position.

Good battery with small quirk

I purchased this battery for my Spektrum DX6 following advice from other users in my club.I found that alkaline batteries do not last long on this radio due to the vast amount of computer settings using lots of power. When I received it, I fitted it into the radio ready to give the first full charge as one does with new rechargeable batteries. But when I turned on the transmitter there was nothing. I look like the battery was dead. I then contacted the supplier to find out what was the problem. I was told to put it on charge for 1/2 hour & see if it work, which I did & when I checked it by turning on the Tx it was working ok! I fully charged it & adjusted the TX to the Li-Ion setting & everything is fine. So if new users have the same problem, try this and it will probably be Ok. This means that when purchasing this battery you will need a charger for it or make a lead to fit the charging plug. From all who use this battery I have only had good report and everyone told me that the charge last much longer then with alkaline batteries. I only gave 4 stars because of the issue I had with it & maybe suppliers should make buyers aware of this little quirk.
