Silhouette Curio and a Newbie
I already own a Silhouette Cameo, and love it, but the fact that it could not emboss was disappointing. Using embossing folders restricted me to using designs I could buy, and not ones that I could create. So I was really happy to see that the Curio would let me cut and emboss my own designs. It has taken me a week to learn how to emboss card, paper and vellum successfully. I haven't tried any other materials yet. Nor have I tried the stipple or rhinestone options. My biggest problem was the lack of tutorials. I was used to using Silhouette Studio 3.6, but downloaded Studio 4 ready for the Curio. And that has caused problems. Any online help shows how to achieve results using earlier versions of Silhouette Studio than I have. I will be truly grateful when somebody does demonstrations using the latest software. Today I tried sketching with the Curio for the first time. That was successful. My latest problem is how to cut out a design that has been scored and embossed. I know that pauses can be installed on a design so that tools can be changed, but I have no idea how it is done. Any help would be most welcome! The Curio is a great machine, but it needs a steep learning curve to use it.

A very useful addition for my sewing machine..
This item makes life much easier when sewing quarter inch seams. 90 degree corners are perfect without guessing when to pivot the fabric. Also useful for sewing even seams on curves and circles. Great item.

Replacement print heads.
Brilliant purchase. I bought one print head last year for double the price of these two. The quality is excellent, and I have got my favourite printer back with top quality printing.
