Another secret jewel
This is another of the rather unknown British movie jewels. I laughed until my sides hurt when the coffin of a dear departed lady who was fond of Star Trek began to "lift off" into the air -- a show designed by the overly imaginative undertaker to reflect her interests in life. To tell too much of the storyline would ruin it, so I won't say more than buy it - you'll love it!

Jolly good fun!
I love many of the British comedies and had not seen the Irish R.M. I found it, like so many Britcoms, silly and fun. I don't like it quite as much as my great favorites, To the Manor Born, The Vicar of Dibley, My Family, Father Ted, and As Time Goes By, thus the Good rating, but it is enjoyable entertainment.

A delightful tour through Third Age Middle Earth!
Although not totally chronologically arranged, this book offers a lush pictorial trip through Middle Earth, with pictures of places and characters that will bring up warm memories of well-read books and much-loved movies.
Start the fire, make a cup of tea or coffee, settle into a plush chair, and escape this world for a while.
