Worth a read if you like short stores, in one book.

While Ann Rule is Queen of true crime stories, I didn't realize some of her books, maybe most of them are a compilation of true stories, so in one book, there may be five stories, etc. Some of the stories are very good, some are kinda blah. She's a great writer, don't get me wrong. I prefer the same story throughout a book. I do recommend if you don't mind short stories. Great value? not sure what that means.... I mean I purchased it from Ebay so it wasn't full price. It was in very good condition. And btw I do have several of these and over about three of them, I lost interest. I do have a collection of her real "books".

I love history and this truly is that

Love the nostalgia of this awesome book. It was in great condition also..... Martha (even though I'm not her biggest fan) has had this talent for a very long time, acknowledging that she also has a huge staff that carries out all her creativity.... That said.... if you're into this stuff, you cannot go wrong.... Also, it's strictly about entertaining.... not everyday stuff.

Series of short stories. Golden Boy best, others not so much.

This book is a compilation of short stores. If you don't mind this type of reading, you'll enjoy these stories. Written by the Queen fo true crime stories. The story about the golden boy is good, very good where evil transcends. Most of her compilation books have one good story in it with the others not so. But this one is worth it for this particular story. I will always recommend Ann Rule writing.
