Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Cologne Spray - 50ml Eau De Toilette Spray

Fantastic

This is a cracking fragrance and opens up with a lovely citrus burst, perfect for the summer. Then dries down to a lovely woody but light affair complemented by Guerlain’s signature hint of almond. This is honestly a steal at the price. Shame they stopped doing it, when my bottle runs out it’ll be sorely missed from my collection. I honestly can’t think of a time when I’ve bought a fragrance and been as blown away as I was with the price vs quality like I have with this one.

Hyper-synthetic

This is a nice fragrance but it’s really obviously synthetic. A cheap copy of Creed Aventus and not a patch on the quality, they’re just not in the same league. Having said that, the dry down is rather nice but the opening is what put me off this scent as it’s like being hit with a chemical soup to start off with. A worthy imitation of Aventus but the price is the clue here.
