The Last Kingdom by Bernard Cornwell
My 15-year-old son who hates reading was completely captivated by this book. He stayed up late into the evening hours to finish it and couldn't wait to read the sequels. It didn't look like a book I would enjoy, but after much pestering from my son, I picked it up and enjoyed it immensely. There is a strong storyline as well as a depth of history that is very enriching.

A Passion for Fullness by Jack Hayford
This was a "life changing" book for me. I've given several of them away and I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone who desires an authentic relationship with God. I've read it multiple times.
