Excellent product
Did a lot of research on these video capture cards and although this is one of the more expensive cards, I can tell you that it is well worth the money. This device needs no brains all you do is plug it it in and it works. No software to download or configure. I was originally going to by the magewell HDMI gen 2 but they were all sold out. The gen2 is basically the same but the plus model comes with a pass through monitor port, a external mic port and headphone port. I did not think that I would use the extra ports but after hooking everything up I found uses for all the ports. For 50.00 more these extra ports were well worth the extra cost. This card also does all the work so that your computer does not have to work so hard. Very happy with the purchase.
