Cruise Control now working

Although my VW Golf had the cruise control switches, it had never worked in my 18 month ownership, so i decided to investigate. The cause of the malfunction was a broken ribbon in the cruise control stalk, which meant i had to buy a complete new stalk. This was the one i purchased, not only was it 'the' exact item, but was very reasonably priced. Very easy to fit, although you will need to remove the steering wheel and airbag, it was all done within an hour. Took the car for a drive and tested the cruise control, works beautifully, well chuffed.
