Worth exploring
I only started listening to Big Big Train (BBG) at the beginning of the year. I had five of their albums before this one but it is arguably as good as any of them. It does not knock you over initially, at least not until one gets past the first few tracks. However, it is a grower as they say. There are some great instrumental sections and the usual interesting arrangements. Tracks that I particularly like at the moment include the instrumentals Apollo and Headwaters. Atlantic Cable is a long, classic BBG track: excellent. The album also ends well with Endnotes. One track I am currently less enthusiastic about is All The Love We Can Give. This track has some great sections but it has taken a while for me to enjoy the sung sections. Other tracks that are worth noting are The Strangest Times (which has grown on me after initially seeming to be a little straightforward), Black With Ink, Dandelion Clock and Common Ground itself. Infact, the whole album is pretty good. I am not going to say it is their best but it is much more than just another album.

Exactly what it says it is.
My previous one, that I bought many years ago split so this is the perfect replacement.
