Disappointed , don't fit as advertised
I have a 1980s era Blue Box Athearn GP9/GP7. This is the era of the extrac wide Athearn shell but the narrow gold sided motor. Bought these to replace the old motor mounts that had yellowed and cracked after 35 years. These new mounts don't fit on the motor and don't fit into the mounting holes on the chassis. I tried sanding and cutting them down to fit but that didnt work either.
So these are for late 90s Athearn re-tooled motors, not for the old Blue Box engines.
