Great Waterproof Camera

Great casting reel at a great price
1 of 1 found this helpful I was sick of expensive spinning reels breaking after 2-3 years then costing $80 to fix. So I bought some cheap “throw away” reels. Those had issues as well. So I turned to baitcasters and realized that throwing a small jig wasn’t what I was used to doing. I usually throw a 1.5 oz jig which to be honest takes not as much skill as a 3/8 oz jig. I saw lots of people claiming Lews reels can cast further than their shimano or Abu Garcia reels. So I bought a Lews and tried it. It does cast smoother than my Diawa Lexa, Abu Garcia Beast or my Shimano Calcutta. I wound up buying 3 more well below $100. I could not be happier with them. They cast like a dream. If they don’t last too long, I will simply buy a new one. At the price I paid, I think it will be cheaper than some repairs on my other reels without the 6 month waits for parts.
