Pretty good, but just a small criticism..
The only complaint is the threads aren't cut so the T-bars sit in the same position at the same angle. Otherwise they're pretty good and better than the (probably now corroded & tired bolt/cup/rubber combination. I fitted these to a Wolseley 18/85 II (single carb MGB engine) and they're a distinct improvement. However two provisos. The new rubber bushings are very tight on the shaft (washing up liquid is your friend here) & be ABSOLUTELY SURE you've removed ALL the old rubber bushing where the bolt sat - the original ones (of which my car had a single left) need to be prised out of the rocker cover & are similar to a suspension bushing - you DO NOT want this material playing huggy-feely with your valve gear.
Very good for the price, easier to use than the old drilled pin bolt thing - and probably a sensible replacement given the potential age of the rubber bushes on the rocker cover (which will probably be seeping by now).
Recommended, although the threads could be a little more accurate.

Good and bad..
1 of 1 found this helpful This is designed to replace the stock air filter box on HS6 carb cars of which there are many. Quality is not fantastic but it looks fairly simple to fit.
This will probably require a slightly richer mixture on the carb and it is a good idea to fit a short velocity stack at the same time - might as well while you're there - which will improve airflow into the carb - which will require a little more tuning.
It looks like it'll do the job for a good price but you can see it's been made to that price. Still if it saves me having to deal with the standard air filter installation on a Wolseley landcrab then it's worth every penny - I swear the person who came up with that was a sadist of the first water..

Got what I needed
This isn't in fantastic condition but then it's anything up to 40+ years old, and used. I've managed to get the part I needed off in fair condition to replace the missing part on the car, specifically the centre horizontal trim bar (secured by two screws). Now it's just a matter of being able to fit it. I've a feeling that's going to be easier said than done. It's also surprisingly heavy for such a small part, being cast metal, not plastic like the rest of the light cluster.
