Great Playlist!
The other reviewers have pretty much said it all already with regard to this album. There are a few glaring omissions from the compilation but it's still a cracking playlist. If you want a more comprehensive retrospective on their recording career you'd probably be better off with '40 Licks' but In the process get a lot of early tracks (in mono) which might never get played!

I really enjoyed this album.
An album which eventually went platinum - says it all! He sings as he talks in his own Dublin (Northside) accent - no U.S. twangs here! The entire album was later reproduced on 'Live at the Olympia' where the audience sang all the songs for Damo! At least on this album you get a chance to hear Damien. I might prefer the live versions - just for the atmosphere, but It's close. Give him a spin and enjoy - you won't regret it.

Van Morrison - Inarticulate Speech Of The Heart
I bought this album because I'm trying to assemble a library of all Van Morrison's back catalogue of work. As a fan,I probably would like pretty much anything he has produced, so you have to factor this into reading my revue. It will come as no surprise then that I liked this album!
Not being a "Morrison anorak" I can't tell you where he was in his career at the time he wrote this album or fill you in with any relevant background information. All I can say is - if you like well-crafted tunes with great instrumental back-up and backing vocals, and the Morrison vocals don't trouble you too much, you'll like this album too!
