Quite noisy
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this as a deterrent as neighbour's cat had caught rats recently so not sure if works to get rid of infestation but has potentially kept them out? It is not a discreet item as it's fairly obvious when plugged in especially as there are several different coloured lights that go on and off all the time so expect guests to notice it if in view. It also emits a sound that is clearly heard (although you can turn this option off, it is the recommended setting!). If you want something discreet this is not for you - it even had the invoice with the description of the enclosed item attached to the outside of the parcel for all to see! However if it works then it's doing it's job. No sign of rats in my house and it's been used for 20 days so far.
