Neat and sleek
This is a version of the slimmer Blackberry, the Pearl. It's not usually seen much in the UK, but although it's not one of the latest Blackberries and isn't 3G, it is a very neat, stylish and sleek phone. The outer mini-display is sited behind the outer case, so there are no join lines on the screen. The hinge mechanism - often the least aesthetically pleasing part of any flip phone - is subtle and neatly designed, making the phone good looking when open as well as closed. On new Blackberries the trackerball has been replaced by the squarish scroll button however this BB has a round trackerball. Interesting some new phones, such as some of the HTC handsets - are still using this trackerball. Overall an excellent little handset.
