A great scope mount solution for the Browning SA-22 Rifle.
Bought the picatinny rail for my Browning SA-22 ( rifle made in Japan by Browning). Rail was a fairly good quality (finish not great though) and the appearance on the rifle with the scope was very nice. No problem attaching the rail to the barrel and my Leupold Compact 1" scope with Weaver low profile rings. Looked really great on the rifle and gave me good eye relief too. At first I thought the barrel couldn't be removed with the rail attached, but with help from the manufacturer, I tried it a second time, and it does fit without a problem. I like the picatinny rail as it gives more scope positioning flexibility and it accepts Weaver style rings and picatinny type rings. This is a great alternative to Browning's own scope mount which requires the dumb looking and expensive Browning rings. I also much prefer this picatinny rail to Weaver's Browning SA-22 scope mount, which gives terrible scope eye relief. If I have no issue zeroing in the scope, I'll be very happy with this rail mount system. I would try it over Weaver's or Brownings mount. The manufacturer will take a return, if it does work for you, but the picatinny rail should work out well for you on the SA-22 rifle.
