Not completely happy.
5 of 7 found this helpful How would I know if it's durable, since I've only had it a couple weeks. The panel that is lit when it's turned ON is way too bright -- I bought this to play gentle music to fall asleep to, and the damn panel lights up the whole bedroom. The mode-selection panel (same one as ON) shows AUX, an FM frequency, an AM frequency, -- (which turns out to be the CD mode, and a 3-character display of ?AP -- the ? looks like a capital E without the top horizontal line. I would expect a better product for $50, and wish I had had the opportunity to examine it at a store before I'd bought it --- I wouldn't have bought it. See if you can find a product built in Japan if you want some quality for your money.

As expected, a wonderful trip down memory lane. Hard to believe that this music is from 35 years ago.
