Always go with the original.
There are cheap knock-offs and other newly produced adapters that simply put your beloved retro console at risk. Always go with Nintendo, who has a track record for making quality parts. Other adapters are light and use inferior coils, where a true adapter should be rugged and heavy. This is an easy sell, especially for the cost. Don't spend more that $15 on one of these.

Greated gun game, greatest lightgun
My first experience with this game was with the Arcade cabinet of PB2 and this home version is all of those offerings plus a TON of extras. An added party mode (up to 8 players hot-seat!), endurance, and whole slew of other modes have been added to an already amazing game. Anyone familiar with the Mario Party series will be right at home here, and the whole package is completed by an absolutely astonishingly responsive light gun. The actual gun piggybacks the video input from the Playstation to ensure the absolute best possible accuracy. Honestly, for the price and the hardware, it's worth every penny. The game also supports two guns for co-op, so be sure to bring a friend!!!!!
