Still good after all these years
This camera has quite a lot going for it. Reasonable picture, good zoom, eye piece as well as screen, respectable battery life. It has obviously been overtaken by technology, but when my old one broke, I chose to buy a second hand one to replace it, as I know how it works, I have a spare battery and charger, and I won't have to buy a new hard disk to cope with the latest picture sizes.
I think it's good enough to keep me going for another couple of years, to see what the next wave of technology brings us.

Superceded in 2009 but the area is well worth a visit.
Maps a lovely section of hadrian's wall including the site of the Roman dwelling Vindolanda...brilliant. Not the current version of the map, though.

Warm, comfortable, controllable
Dual control. Comfortable to lie on. Turns itself off automtacally. These are the three critical features. It has good enough coverage of the bed. They all seem to have the same issue of a chunky plug. But you can put this at the bottom of the bed since it has the auto switch off. We have two similar ones of these. One has fiddly strings to secure it under the corners and under the centre of the mattress. The newer one has elastic, which is better. I think you can get one with a mattress skirt, like a fitted sheet.
I'm happy with this blanket.
