Disappointing for an official headset

Build quality is OK. Quality of sound however is atrocious. It's muffled, you can't hear any high tones. Like you're listening through a cloth. Headset doesn't quite fit on the head no matter how you adjust it. Feels loose and the cups don't sit on ears snuggly. Outside noises still make it through and your gaming experience is compromised Headset feels loose like it's about to fall off. So far I was using the Sony MR-NC31E headset from my previous Sony Xperia mobile phone. It had an integrated microphone, noise cancelling and the sound quality was MILES BETTER. Sadly it stopped working (my fault) so I opted for the "official PS4 headset" thinking it be good. Money down the drain. One of the biggest disappointments when it comes to audio equipment.
