Early days but seems like a quality product worth the higher price.
Replaced a very old pair of green jem loppers . Whilst double the price these do seem to be a superior product up to fiskars usual standard. These are BYPASS loppers . They are extremely sharp and cut to the same standard as the anvil loppers they replaced. Just need to keep the blade aligned as close to 90 deg as possible to avoid flexing and twisting. I required telescopic handles both for the extra reach and also for the additional leverage when cutting thicker branches. Most loppers of this type use a twist and lock mechanism to extend the handle which fails on some makes after a while. These loppers have locking holes in the handles which can be easily extended by depressing a locking button so think this will me more reliable in the long run and works very well. So far only used on branches up to around 1” diameter which handled with ease.

Well designed and comfortable.
After trying different similar footstools this one is the best for my needs. The folding rear legs have latches to hold in place so very secure. The height and slope is very comfortable and works well with existing garden chairs. Finish is reasonable, like all oiled wood will need re oiling at least once a year if left out . I store the footstool under the table and will put away in shed for winter. Only small issue is that a couple of the slats which have a slight curve have been attached upside down ,and as screwed and glued I can’t turn them around. This is a cosmetic issue and does not effect the performance . I am buying a second one.

Good cheap solutionto weatheproof sides of garage door
2 heavy-weight strips of rubber supplied with more than sufficient Galvanised clouts/nails to attach to the garage door frame. Provides a good weather proof seal and no reason they should not last a long time.
