Not a long-term solution
0 of 1 found this helpful While I loved the quality of the material and the sturdiness when using it, there are two big (closely related) issues that made me return the product:
1) You cannot use this keyboard with any sort of case or cover you might want to put on the back of your Surface to protect it. The clamps at the bottom are very tight in order to lock in the Surface, which is necessary for the strong hold, but they wont allow any extra material between keyboard and Surface.
2) Much worse, and directly related to the above, the clamps are so tight that they can damage the screen and cause distortion to the edges. This is a well documented issue throughout reviews online with pictures to support. Not worth the risk for such an expensive machine.
