Very enjoyable music that even non-opera buffs like me can hum along to.
Verdi has done some very recognisable tunes and can be enjoyed by everyone.

Part of history that we never hear about
1 of 1 found this helpful This was a well written and thoroghly interesting book especially, if like me, you live near the coast in the West Country. White slavery is seldom mentioned and yet there are so many lessons to learn today as there are so many similarities to the way that ISIS treat their prisoners in the present day. Your also learn so much about our monarchy and Royal Navy and its strengths and weaknesses in those times. There also shows the connect between the white slave trade and public opinion in the UK that lead to the abolishion of slavery for blacks in the western world. I less than a week to read this book which is quick for me, my husband read it in 2 days, definitely one you don't want to put down.
