Cost efficiency and large capacity
2 of 2 found this helpful This one can hold my mails for 2 months when I am on vacation. And it is cheap. It is not difficult to assemble and install. It took me half hour to assemble the pieces together and half hour to install it (not counting the Quickret fast setting concrete dry up time since I planted the installation pole in the concrete). The quality looks fine as I expect a decade of the mailbox lifetime.

Not useful on Linux
I have a NMEA device working well under linux with another CH340 cable. When I replace the old cable with this one, data become random craps. Everything else is exactly the same except the cable replacement. Then I see some tiny difference between this one and the old good one, a big crystal oscillator can be seen in the old good one, but is missing in this one. Linux kernel's ch340 module cannot operate on this one correctly.

I use it on my RaspberryPis to replace the unreliable sd card. Works like charm
