Rhyming and counting Christmas fun
Bought the book for a friends young girls who are 5 and 2. Can imagine the eldest taking great pleasure in reading the rhyming and counting text to her younger sister. Great illustrations, bright and colourful book.

great fun for children and kittens
Bought as a gift for my friend's son and their new kitten. Both have had hours of fun and 4 weeks later the pom poms are still attached.

Insightful and easy to read
I wanted to read Nella's diaries having seen Housewife 49 on the tv. The book is easy to read and is very evocative.I would recommend reading it for an insight into family life during World War 2.
