Pretty Paperweight
The actual tool is high quality, but just did not work on my bike - XT600 3AJ. To be fair there was only a tiny bit of race exposed to get a grip on. For this to work you would need around 2mm for the tool to grip. I ended up getting a local guy to weld a piece of rod onto the race and hammer it out. £10 and 10 minutes.
Unless you plan to replace a lot of races on different bikes I would suggest you go down the welding route.
I now have a £30, albeit pretty, paperweight.

Accurate and well made
Accurate and well made piece of kit. Compression checks are important, and can sway for/against time -consuming work like removing cylinder head for ring or valve work. It is better to buy quality. Only drawback is no box to put all parts in - that's the reason why 4 stars and not 5.
