Replacement Part - Worked on Install

Its a replacement part. I installed it and it worked. As for value and quality, that is to be determined in its longevity. Purchase price was reasonable at the time of purchase. I don't know how long it will last since I just installed it.

Fell Apart at First Use

The device worked, at first !!! Then when we had to plug an audio cable into it to get sound, the entire internal jack just broke off the PC board in the device. This has the effect of rendering the unit as nothing more then a VIDEO ONLY adapter. It was a very low cost item, so i should not be too surprised at how poorly its made, but this was exceptionally poor quality. I am hoping this was only a fluke, I have another unit to try, but i have serious reservations about using this device.
