awesome
awesome, thanks. I save $1.60ish per key cutting my own. And I don't have to drive to Lowes and wait for them to do it.

great simple ordering
1 of 1 found this helpful Kohler has made the process relatively painless. They have a standard valve body (with or without stops). I wish they were more clear in explaining the naming convention on part numbers. "k" vs "ks" (with STOPS).

Jeep Cherokee with straight 6
15 of 16 found this helpful The 1997-2001 is the last of the regular Cherokee. Change the oil regularly, and you can get 250K out of them. Rough ride, and not-great headroom or back seat room, but this car is extremely dependable. High speeds on the highway (70+) will hurt your mileage, as I think the gearing is too conservative (RPMs too high in all gears). I consistently get 20-22 MPG in mixed driving with the stick. Parts are available and reasonable. Mechanics know how to work on them. Common problems: body rot on the rain gutters allows leaks and leaks on the floormats (drives me nuts). Rattling transmission noises. Dollar for dollar, this is an absolutely unbeatable SUV (mini-SUV) for a small family, a commuter, etc. if you can stomach the rough ride. Stick and 2WD varieties are rare. The 1996 and before have the older look that I don't care for, but they have the awesome straight 6. Jeep made a huge mistake to drop this in favor of the weak and wimpy Liberty.
