BUY IT! You'll like it!
It works perfectly but is a bit difficult to setup the very first time. Part of this is due to the wide range of 6-axis adjustments that allow tweaking it to suit your personal tastes. I already had FaceTrackNoIR 1.7 installed but had to locate and install the PointTracker 1.0 plugin since it uses IR.
A minor problem was that mine arrived with the PS3 Eye-camera way out of focus so had to keep twisting the camera lens barrel until the IR image finally sharpened up. I was worried I was going to break it since it took so many turns to achieve focus.
Once dialed in it's extremely accurate and really adds to the game/simulator immersion factor! Be aware that strong background light may affect it, even though it's IR only.
The bottom line is it works great and is a great deal. I cranked up the fps from 30 to 60 and it's very smooth.
