nice oldies
These were sold in the 90's, kind of low mid range speakers. Polk Audio on a budget speakers. Have heard complaints about boomy bass, right and if you raise the tweeter to ear level and get the speaker up off the floor that goes away. After about twenty years most of these are beat up pretty bad. The coil on the crossover gets knocked loose real easy and some are just hanging on by the wires waiting for another bump to finish the job. Almost all of these need some repair, sometimes minor, sometimes not. If the cabinets got wet, they swell. Might as well get other cabinets unless you are good at wood work. Most other parts can be found and it helps to get the parts numbers from what you have. Story is getting too long. Unless you get really lucky, expect some repair either minor or major. I enjoy trying to restore these, most people wouldn't.
