A simple little book on one monks life in the monastery
This is a great little book on monastic life and the monks that live that life.
I found this book to be a very quick, but interesting read and it was tough to put down. There is nothing deep or theological about this book. Somebody with little to no knowledge of Catholic monasticism will have no trouble relating to this author and his life. This book is a compilation of little stories about the monks the author has known and about the monastery he has called home for all of his adult life. Many of the stories are very entertaining and interesting and each story lasts only a few pages at most. The author really puts a human face on a life that most of don't understand or have ever come in contact with, although after reading this, many will wish we did.
I recommend this book for somebody with even a passing interest in monastic life...

Perfect Trainer
The first thing I liked about this trainer was the price, right in the middle of cheap and expensive. This is my first trainer, but I can tell you that this was easy to assemble and solid once it set up. Its also easy to use and put your bike on and the construction is solid. I can see this holding up well under many hours of use. It really does give a pretty realistic resistance similar to being on the road and I don't see myself tiring of using it. I can see this being a big help in keeping me in shape through the long winter. Very minor issue, it is not as quiet as reported. I use in the garage so no problem for me, but I'm not sure it would be quiet enough in the house. Overall - recommended!

Great Speaker!
I loved this speaker right out of the slick box it came in. It's a good looking speaker that is easy to set up and use. Overall, the sound is excellent, but its the mids that really stand out. The vocals sound very crisp and clear, while the bass is just right, not boomy or muddy. I hooked up two of these speakers at my backyard party and nearly everyone complimented the sound. Plenty of volume to keep the party moving. I highly recommend this speaker.
