Parts are always better than aftermarket when available. Aftermarket parts are good, and usually cheaper, but rarely better.

Arlene Ness "fusion" grips

These grips are great for the subdued look, and super grippy knurling. You may not be comfortable with bare hands, but I recommend taking the time to get used to the feel. You may come to prefer it. Price not bad for "designer" accents; cheapies cost half as much.

Chrome heim joint

Mine may be the exception, but I have to give it a bad review because it seized up after very little use. I could barely make it home because shifting became almost impossible. Applying lubricant had no effect.
