Okay for the money, but not what I expected from Shure.
Firstly, it's worth noting that this will not process hi-res audio or lossless files. Whether it be from source or a streaming service. I've tried multiple devices and it fails, completely. Which is odd to me considering the products that this is designed for.
It excels in taking calls; playing mp3/AAC files from my phone, tablet, laptop and watch. It's pretty stable within 2 meters. Which begs the question, why would anyone drop £3/5/800 + on IEM's only to buy this, when any £200ish earpod/buds would give you the same audio quality and functionality? I've tried my flatmates inexpensive wireless earbuds and they had no issues playing the aforementioned files.
So who is this for? I guess at £55 it is fine for phone use or playing music via a sports watch while exercising, but to replace the cable - absolutely not. Going to return it, and hope Shure ups their game for the pending True Wireless adaptor.
