It works, but don't expect Apple OEM quality
It works and is good value for the price, but it definitely is not "OEM" or the same as Apple's Original Equipment Manufacturer quality. The digitizer grid inside the glass is visible when the LCD is off. Also, when the LCD is off the reflections in the glass show multiple somewhat fuzzy images rather than the clean mirror image seen in the original Apple iPad glass. The ribbon cable from the Home button to the logic board is not secured in place, and it was necessary to use some Kapton tape to secure it in place. The pre-applied perimeter adhesive tape wasn't sticky enough, which required the careful addition of some B-7000 adhesive in order to effect a proper adhesion of the digitizer to the iPad case. When an original iPad is placed alongside an identical iPad with this replacement digitizer installed, other members of my family were able to correctly identify the iPad with the "OEM" replacement every time, whether the iPads were turned on or off. This item is a workable inexpensive replacement, but don't expect original Apple OEM quality.

You Get What You Pay For
1 of 1 found this helpful It took more than 6 complete charge/discharge cycles before the battery achieved "Normal" results in "About This Mac" after reporting "Service Battery", "Replace Battery Soon" and similar statuses. Battery capacity finally settled in at 66 percent of an original Apple battery, as reported by iStat Pro. Since lithium ion batteries start losing charge capacity from the minute they're manufactured, this one either sat on a shelf for a long time or has less than optimum battery chemistry. Of course, at about 1/5th the cost of an Apple OEM battery, you get what you pay for.

Best of All VOIP Worlds!
