Contigo Vacuum Insulated Gunmetal Stainless Steel & Green Autoseal Mug Cup 400ML

More tea vicar... only if it is hot.

I've had loads of insulated mugs since they were introduced in the early nineties when I would always carry one dog walking. As a tradesman I am seldom without one in the van, workshop or on site. I prefer them to have an open handle as this one does as they will sit in a large van door pocket with the handle over the edge to keep them upright if they do not fit in the cup holders (often too small). Many of the standard offerings, plastic ones, do not do a very good job of insulating and the cavity is often empty and prone to filling up if immersed when washing afterwhich it leaks whatever it has absorbed into the cavity. This is a sealed Stainless steel job which does a good job of insulating and can be immersed. The lid, whilst complex, dissassembles to clean ( better than many kids drinky bottles)and has a clever press button to enable drinking. The lid seals to the mug perfectly, no chin dribbling annoyance and the press button seal works so well I tried turning it upside down and it doesn't drip at all, unbelievable. I might be just a little OCD about the dribbling but I guess my seals will start to perish in a few years so it will be nice to have at least a short period of dry!

Great tool that works well.

Bought on a bit of a whim but having already invested in the Makita 18v platform. This brushless jigsaw comes out more regularly than my old mains one as setting up needs no consideration of extension leads. The LED light is a nice touch as is the ability to extract dust efficiently through the base. The tool-less blade change works well and it has done all the jobs I have had for it so far just as well as my old mains one. I was a little hesitant, as I had a bad experience in the early nineties with a mains Makita jigsaw which wandered terribly. This is definitely a very proficient saw that will probably have made the mains one redundant.
