very happy with this, works as expected and arrives quick
3 of 3 found this helpful Works as expected. Expose to outside air and it reads zero. Expose to CO produced by a small flame it quickly climes above it's alarm limit and starts beeping. Rechargable batteries last for at least several days of 24/7 use. When it starts it counts down from 120, literally, before provide a reading. This is not documented in the instructions. That's the one flaw in the documentation. The documentation does mention that it takes two minutes to respond therefore I presume that this 120 count down is a post power-on delay that gives the device time to get a stable measurement. But I also wonder if it is some sort of calibration that is happening, and if I should be doing something in particular with the device during this period, e.g. put it in fresh air. That's why I wish it was better documented.
