Does what it says
1 of 1 found this helpful It’s a nicely designed thermostat that works as intended and is easy to install.
There are a few things I consider to be design faults:
1) the nice display is OFF most of the time so you have to press something to see what the temperature is.
2) the unit is unstable unless the back (battery cover is removed) or the wall mount is used.
3) emailing customer services is pointless, replies take a long time. 3-days and counting.
Apart from this, the HIVE kit does the same as my old Honeywell wireless thermostat, but worth the added feature of being able to control it away from home.
