Basic, economical rain gauge
1 of 1 found this helpful This is your basic rain gauge that is easy to read. It replaced a plastic one I've had for only a few years that became brittle and cracked, I'm assuming from UV deterioration. This glass one will solve that. Great price.

Just what I was hoping for
I made a 6'x10' wagon bed for a frame I bought at Tractor Supply. These pockets were just what I was looking for to finish the job by putting side rails on the wagon, which I am using to transport potted plants for my roadside stand. I had to clean and paint the pockets, but the price was the best I could find online. It took a while to cut/sand the 2x4's to fit the pockets, but the taper makes them fit nice and snug when you drop them in. I plan on staining the rails just as I did the wagon deck, but I wanted to submit this review promptly. I am very satisfied.

good switch
Our old doorbell button got brittle from the sun and weather and would short circuit when rain water would seep in. That wasn't so pleasant when the doorbell chimed one rainy night at 2AM. This button mechanism is a better design to keep snow and rain out of the wiring and the finish should last years. My only problem was self-inflicted. Our doorbell system was not a Nutone, so when I first hooked it up, the electronic doorbell sounded continually. I realized that the light feature of this switch was making continuity for the chime. Once I removed the light, the switch worked fine for my system.
