Another great Tomkies book!
What a guy, to have changed his life so completely and retain his love of nature and his amazing talent for putting you in the places with him. Sadly left us 2016.

Compelling life story that takes you there
Mike Tomkies has a way of writing which puts you right in the frame, so to speak. It's his story of living in the last truly wild place in the UK, the Highlands of Scotland. He gets close to the various animals there who become his only neighbours, a far cry from the high flying career as a Fleet Street journalist before he took to the wild places to heal his disillusioned spirit. A great read for all lovers of the natural world.

Great product
Had been looking all over for my usual Simple talc, only to find they don't make it any more. This product is an excellent alternative for those needing an unperfumed talc. Would recommend
