Quality product

Grohe means well made. The smooth casing means that these hoses don't pick up scale and look unsightly like the traditional metal casing hoses. The previous hose lasted about 8 years so I hope this one will last a good few years.

Well made and does the job well

This basket gives an excellent "crema". My only reservation is that my pump seems to scale up/clog up much faster than when I use the old-style crema rubber discs. This may be because there is much greater back pressure with this basket as the hole is tiny or it could just be that my 17 year old Gaggia Classic machine is struggling. The problem seems to go away with descaler but I'm having to do so a lot more often.
