Paiste PST 7 Light Ride - 20"

Complex Cymbal
I listened to & researched this cymbal with great detail in the Paiste sound room & on YouTube. I was hoping for a do-it-all light ride that would mostly be used as a crash. I have a 22" PST Rock ride & 18" PST 5 crash that I love (very Bonham/Paice/Van Halen ish). My entire cymbal set up also includes mid level Zildjians, 2002s & even a Wuhan china. Anyway, I am initially disappointed at how this cymbal blends with my current set-up. On it's own & likely with a complete set of PST 7s this would be sweet. My direct comparison in the Paiste sound room with HQ headphones & my PST 5s sounded great. Unfortunately, Paiste has eliminated many of their PST 5 models & even changed those that remain. Otherwise, I would have stayed within that line. Lesson for beginners, even a great cymbal must blend well with your current set up or be prepared to buy an entire new set.
