Good looking but noisy in operation
The external styling is beyond reproach. Also it does as described, self-closes the door. However it creaks and groans in the process which I found unacceptable for an indoor application. I took this up with Yale who supplied another unit for me to try. It was equally noisy in operation. Yale has now finally admitted noise is an issue, I quote "My apologies that you are not satisfied with the product. Unfortunately they are noisy products to begin with. We are willing to refund you the cost of the door closer if you wish we will just require them to be sent back to us." So do not buy unless you can accept the noise.

Useful if needing to expand a now obsolete MK Sentry consumer unit
Arrived quickly and despite being sold as used looked the same as a new item. Nevertheless decided to test it before installation. Performed as expected when subjected to first an overload and then a short circuit test. Now installed and in daily use.
