Always satisfying
Simpson's detectives (Thanet and Lineham) are believable characters with all the faults of "real" people. The plots are carefully constructed and realistic. She adds enough extraneous information to keep the reader guessing. An interesting series of " oh so British" mysteries.

Vintage Francis
As always, Dick Francis provides a tightly plotted thriller. The action is realistic and the characters are believable. Great to read...And reread.

Poirot is great, as always!
I really enjoyed the shows that were included on this disk. However, they were all included in the original A&E releases, so there was nothing new. As always, David Suchet is amazing as the fussy Belgian detective. He IS Poirot.
