a great Makita air filter assembly
Wow, what a great Makita air filter assembly. All I needed was the threaded base for the filter assembly, but the threaded base is not sold by itself. Something knocked up against my air filter assembly and cracked the base. You should not run the compressor without a filter. It probably makes sense to buy this entire filter assembly (filter housing, filter and base) instead of buying just the expensive air filter (filter costs $20 by itself). This assembly includes the threaded base that screws into the compressor. Have fun.
