Great Product. Works as Advertised.
9 of 9 found this helpful So, we got this in the mail today. Took about an hour to get everything hooked up. Hardest part was getting the grip and the throttle onto the handle bars. It was extremely tight. Had to use a hammer and some WD-40 to force them on. Other than that, everything snapped together and my son was off and running. He's thrilled with the variable speed throttle, and the battery charge indicators.
Now on to a funny story. When i first unpacked the controller, i was comparing it to the old controller and notice there were two single red wires missing. I was about to call up, and suggest they sent me the wrong controller. My son (12 years old) was asking me what those connected to. I said they connect to the power switch on the bottom. He goes, oh, we don't need that anymore, cuz we have the key which turns it on and off. Haha, 12 year old debugging my stupidity.
