THE SCENT OF GREEN PAPAYA (DVD, 2001) - NEW SEALED DVD

You won't be disappointed! A must watch movie!

I had rented this a very long time ago from a video store on VHS in the foreign section and fell in love with it. I was able to eventually find a copy of it on DVD, but unfortunately, it stopped playing. That brought me to this purchase. It is of very good quality, both sound and picture quality. It is also a very good price for such a wonderful movie. It is a beautiful story of a young girl who is sent to be a servant for a family in Saigon in the 1950's. The setting and all of the very fine details really makes you feel like you are there living in the moment with the girl and seeing and feeling all of her life through her eyes. It takes you through her life as she grows up and all of the challenges she faces and the story of her falling in love with someone above her social class. It is a wonderful story. You won't be disappointed!

Magnavox ZV427MG9 DVD Player / VCR Combo

Great product

I was skeptical about Magnavox being a good product, but I had purchased one several years ago and this one is my fourth one (all this same model and all still working). It is a superb machine and I have never had any issues with it. I could have bought a newer one or a different brand for less, but I like this brand/model so much that I sought out a 4th one!
