A worthwhile book for any coin collector!
2 of 2 found this helpful The Blue Book contains Wholesale Pricing, which is what a coin dealer would potentially offer to BUY a particular coin. As such, a Coin Dealer's markup is reflected in the associated Red Book, which contain's retail pricing. After checking out a few coins, it appears that most coins I've checked generate a 20-35% Gross Margin on Sales (Profit/Sales Price), which is not a bad margin. I try to purchase at Blue Book pricing. This book has pictures, grade sescriptions, and other valuable information!

Prefer the Hardcooy
Pages kept falling out of the softcover bound book. This hardcover is preferable, as is the spiral-bound RedBook!

Works well, needed plastic spikes; steel are illegal in my tourney league!
