Not a great design, not practical for impromptu photos.
1 of 1 found this helpful The lens is of solid construction, but the contraption for attaching the lens to the camera is awkward to adjust properly. More disappointing is that, due to the design of the brace structure, the heavy lens pulls away from the camera and lets light in around the lens and that blows out the picture. The heavy weight of the lens also makes it difficult to use without a tripod to avoid shaking. That means this lens is only good for setting up and shooting an inanimate object. You definitely can't just whip it out and take a photo without minutes of setup/adjustment. The need for a tripod is is probably true of any similar lens, but the attachment feature is the real deal-breaker for this one.
